Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

Crush Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, safe, and professional environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct applies to all conference spaces, both offline and online, including talks, workshops, social events, and digital platforms.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We have zero tolerance for harassment or disruptive behavior. Participants violating these rules may be immediately expelled from the conference without a refund, at the organizers' discretion.

Prohibited Behavior

The following actions and behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying in any form
  • Comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion
  • Deliberate intimidation or stalking
  • Inappropriate photography, recording, or screen captures without consent
  • Sexual exploitation or unwelcome sexual attention
  • Creating or sharing harmful, obscene, or indecent content
  • Cyberbullying or online harassment
  • Sustained disruption of talks or events
  • Violence or threats of violence
  • Criminal behavior or promotion of criminal activities
  • Violating privacy rights of others
  • Content that is hateful, harmful, or graphic

Sponsor and Exhibitor Requirements

All sponsors, exhibitors, and booth staff must adhere to this Code of Conduct. Additionally:

  • Sponsors must not use sexualized images, activities, or materials
  • Booth staff must not create a sexualized environment
  • All promotional materials must be appropriate for a professional audience
  • Sponsor activities must not disrupt other conference activities

Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness any violations of this Code of Conduct:

  • Email: hi@crushconf.com
  • Report immediately to any conference staff member
  • All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality
  • We review both first-person and bystander reports

Enforcement

  • Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately
  • Conference organizers may take immediate action, including expulsion without warning or refund
  • Local law enforcement will be contacted if necessary
  • We prioritize the safety and well-being of our participants

Digital Conduct

The same standards apply to all online interactions:

  • Conference platforms and chat
  • Social media using conference hashtags
  • Virtual sessions and workshops
  • Online networking spaces
